Christmas Wish List

Happy December everyone! I can’t believe how fast this year FLEW by!… Did I blink? Christmas is right around the corner, and as always, I’m nowhere near prepared!

I’ve been working on my presents for other people. And I’ve decided to make this Christmas a little more creative. I can’t say much more, but for the people I love, I’ll be putting together something very special. After the holidays pass, I’ll gladly post their gifts, but until then…it’s a big secret!

My family has been asking for a wishlist for several weeks now. I don’t expect any gifts this year; I’d much prefer to spend time with my loved ones. But here are some unrealistic items on my fantasy wish list. If only….

Leather jackets are sexxyyyy.

“Kevenscent”

A lot of my friends say I have my own “scent.” I’m not really sure what this consists of; probably something like shampoo, hairspray, cigarettes and perfume… It doesn’t sound like it’d smell good, but I promise, I always smell good (p.s. you may have noticed I mentioned cigarettes; I have yet to quit, and obviously broke my promise. Sigh…).

I have a few perfumes that I loooove. And a new bottle of perfume is definitely on my “to buy” list.

This is my number one FAVORITE perfume right now. I bought the bottle at Target, but it was so freaking tiny, so I ran out really quick. I plan on investing in a larger size this time, because I love love love this scent.

I also love this fragrance, Chance by Chanel. My ex-boyfriend bought it for me a while back, and I just recently finished the bottle. I miss it. I really like wearing this scent for going out, it smells a little fancier, if you know what I meannn.

It’s not too girly or flowery or overpowering which I like… I like to have just a hint of scent, versus walking into a room followed by a cloud of heavy perfume. Not my thingggg.

Summertime Style

So, since you’re reading about things in my life that are so personal, I thought you should see firsthand what my style looks like. I set up a shoot with a friend, Jillian, to show off my personal style.

If I had to describe it, I’d say, for the most part, I’m a pretty casual girl. ESPECIALLY in the middle of Arizona’s summers. When it’s 115 degrees outside, I don’t care too much for packin on the layers. I keep it simple with tank tops and denim shorts. Most of the time I’m also rockin’ flip flops or my Converse.

Feathers everywhere!

I’ve been obsessed with feathers for a very long time. I’ve always loved what they symbolize. There’s a lot of different meanings, however, my favorites are “flight,” and “new beginnings.”

Right now, in my life, it’s a period of transition. The word flight means a lot to me, just because I feel like now is when I’m taking off. I’m starting fresh; just moved into a new house, started school again, and started a new job. I also started this blog, so it’s a big time for me. The term “flight” really hits home. But enough about me!!

Feathers were really in this summer, and I have a feeling they’re not going out of style soon. Feathers have been printed all over clothing articles, appeared in hair styles, and were incorporated into accessories. Let’s just say I’m obsessed!!
