Style Idol: Mila Kunis

So as you all know, I spent Valentine’s Day as I would any normal day. EXCEPT: my boyfriend gave me the privilege of choosing any movie at Redbox I wanted!! SCORE. There was one exception – I wasn’t allowed to pick anything I’d already seen. (Yes, I am guilty of watching movies over and over, until I memorize ever word. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t watch their favorite chick flicks over and over???)

ANYWAY. I hadn’t seen a good chick flick in a while, and I may have been super late on this bus, but I chose ‘Friends with Benefits.’ I was a little hesitant considering I’ve seen ‘No Strings Attached,’ and I couldn’t imagine the plot line was much different. BUT I figured I’d take advantage of my opportunity to watch it.

For the record, I’ve ALWAYS loved Mila Kunis, and I’ve always thought she was drop dead gorgeous. But on good old V-Day, I fell in love with her all over again.

I was lovvvvving all of her clothes, her hair, her make-up, and her large eyes. I couldn’t get over it.

Here are some still shots from the movie, with some of her lovely outfits:

This is such a simple outfit, but I love the skinny jeans and the nude pumps. Her purse is adorable as well. Her and JT look so cute together.

Her beachy outfit. Love her side pony with the watch and the white lacey shirt. Adorableeee.

The morning after her 5th date (if you’ve seen the movie, you know what I’m referring to). I rock simple outfits like this ALL the time, simple shirts with denim shorts. Perfect for summer in AZ.

Business casual Mila. I would LOVE to own this dress. I could totally see myself in it for work. Nude pumps again. loooooove.

Another simple and casual outfit. Love the bun, and the plaid shirt, with denim shorts. I LOVE HER STYLE.

Maybe  because it reminds me a bit of mt own style, and she has such a cute little frame. She carries it so beautifully. And she’s hilarious. If I ever had a lunch with famous friends, she’d be invited.

365 Project: A daily dose of KevenJacobs

I’ve decided to start a new project. While I’m not done with catching y’all up to speed with everything that’s gone on the last month or so, I’d still like to start a daily project. I’m going to post a photo, every day for a year, showcasing something that relates back to my personal style, and my shopaholic syndrome.

I’m very excited about this, considering it will give me the opportunity to post daily. I can’t wait to see where this project goes.

My inspiration for this was a good friend of mine, Jillian, who has also done some photography work for my blog. Her project is amazing, and I really wanted to try something similar for the blog.

So here’s day one:

Day 1: transition from school to work. This outfit is versatile enough to be for work or school. The outfit is from Windsor, where I spent a little too much money on Friday. I went shopping, BUT I’m not sure that was a great decision on my part. The top was $22.90, and the pants were $29.90. I paired the top with my favorite black belt and my booties from Target, and I was ready for my busy day!

Summertime Style

So, since you’re reading about things in my life that are so personal, I thought you should see firsthand what my style looks like. I set up a shoot with a friend, Jillian, to show off my personal style.

If I had to describe it, I’d say, for the most part, I’m a pretty casual girl. ESPECIALLY in the middle of Arizona’s summers. When it’s 115 degrees outside, I don’t care too much for packin on the layers. I keep it simple with tank tops and denim shorts. Most of the time I’m also rockin’ flip flops or my Converse.

This is a perfect example of my every day outfit.

This next outfit is also very typical for my summer style.  More denim shorts, and yet another tank. This is something I’d wear on a summer night, to a party, or just to hang out with the boys (on a typical summer night, you’d find me kickin’ it with some of my best friends, most of which are guys).

By the way, I love stacked bracelets and rings; I’m not a huge accessories person, but I love the look of it. I find a lot of cute accessories at American Eagle. Their jewelry is to die for!

My nextttt outfit, is my summer sun dress. This is when I feel like dressing it up a bit, but still casual enough for comfort!

Uhm, I’m in love with that dress from Forever21. The tribal print is adorable, and honestly, I like it better than the one I’m wearing! What the heck? I might have to make it mine.

And last but not leastttt, my night out attire! This is what I originally intended to wear as my birthday dress, however, my birthday this year was freezing cold and rainy, so this was not the outfit I wore.
